"See-mpact" is a test project marking my introduction to game development with Unity. Created as an interactive 2D simulation for the Joint Master's program in "Digital Communication and Creative Media Production" at the University of Fribourg and the University of Applied Sciences of the Grisons, the prototype playfully demonstrates how everyday household decisions affect water quality.
Players prepare for a day at the lake and make choices—such as selecting sunscreen or beverage packaging—that immediately alter the visual representation of the lake in the game.As my first Unity prototype, the biggest challenge and most exciting learning experience was bridging design with technical implementation. This included programming a functional inventory system using C# structs and using shaders to visually highlight interactive elements
